Welcome to the Misawa Aikido Club

[kanji]

The Misawa Aikido Club is a truly international club, in a small city, in northern Japan. The club is comprised of both Americans and Japanese. Most of the American students are stationed at Misawa Air Base. Sensei Yoji Matsumoto, yondan, guides the club along the traditional, or orthodox path of Aikido as taught by the founder of Aikido, Ueshibai O'Sensei.

The club meets at the Misawa City gymnasium every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, from 1830 until 2000. The monthly dues are 2000 Yen, and the initial fee is 6300 Yen. See you there!

Our chief instructor is Hiroshi Isoyama Shihan.

If you have questions about the club or are interested in joining, please send english or japanese e-mail to Yoko Sakakibara

Thank You to those who have listed our site in your registry. Arigato gozaimashita!
